Hello, I'm attempting to set up Windows 11. I downloaded the ISO from the official site and used Rufus along with iso2disk. Each time I try, a warning appears about an unsupported file system order. The instructions suggest looking into GPT at Microsoft.com. If I skip this advice and continue, after several steps it still shows an error preventing booting to the next stage. After selecting GPT/UEFI in Rufus, my SSD is already using the UEFI partition. I've tried various online commands but haven't succeeded. I also tested Windows 10, which had the same issue. My Linux installation works perfectly, but Windows installs without problems when I choose MBR. I want to dual boot with Linux Mint and need a solution that avoids MBR. This is frustrating after installing Windows multiple times before now. Please assist me.

Have you experimented with another storage device in that setup? Windows might struggle to recognize the file system on that drive.

Check if Parted confirms the partition table uses GPT.

Currently working with Samsung 980 NVMe and Crucial BX500, both showing the same issue. Both use GPT partitioning, and the UEFI settings in BIOS are identical.

Is the secure boot feature activated? Have you attempted to remove every partition during the Windows installation process?

I haven't experimented with secure boot settings. However, I removed all partitions. My 500GB drive is causing issues—creating a 200GB partition myself leads to errors. If Windows handles the partition creation, it reports it can't be installed or deleted.

I just completed the boot with Winro on Linux Mint and it functioned properly. I’ll need to verify the partition style after installation. The issue didn’t occur with Rufus or other tools I used, so I’m glad it worked this time. Thanks a lot for your assistance!
