I'm planning to buy an i9-13900k soon and was checking out suitable MOS capacitors. I'm hoping for a good deal—DDR5 options are what I need. I saw on Google that the top choice is around $1200, which isn't something I want to spend right away.

What version are you targeting? Which software will unlock those capabilities?

Looking for a suitable motherboard to achieve smooth performance in Old School Runescape, aiming for around 27-29 FPS.

Checking the IGPU specs, it’s worth noting. A G series APU on AM4 could be lighter in power usage while still offering strong performance compared to the 13900K.

He desires what he seeks, cease persistent reminders and assist in choosing a motherboard. @ OP, what budget are you planning to allocate?

In 2023, focusing on saving money and getting hardware that suits your needs is now referred to as hounding. I understand finance experts can be annoying, but at least it’s a term.

The situation is clear, and I want to stay humble. I’m in a solid financial position—owning my home, keeping my car paid, no debt at all. I pay cash for everything and enjoy a comfortable life in the IT industry. My old PC hasn’t been updated in over five years, so it’ll be stored in my garage alongside my new golf simulator I built last summer. This latest upgrade is going to be robust and should serve me well for the next 5 to 7 years, and I’m likely to repeat the same plan then.

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll likely consult the microcenter team too—they’re usually very insightful. Regarding Thunderbolt, I don’t see a practical need right now, but I’ll explore all available options.

I aimed to simplify the request and clarify the points. Here’s a concise version:

You’re focusing on building a Runescape machine using only IGPU. The Asrock LGA1700 boards from Steel Legend offer solid connectivity, decent VRM, and good value. The Livemixer lineup is decent but quite complicated. For ASUS, the Prime series is strong this year—go for it if you can. The best choice depends on your style: MSI Edge Wifi, Taichi by Asrock, or Strix by Asus are top contenders. The EVGA Kingpin is stylish but too advanced for a basic build.
