Installation fails to start Windows properly.
Hey, I've set up Windows 7 Ultimate. After turning off my laptop, when it restarted I was prompted to choose a boot device. I picked the ATA HDD0: INTEL SSDSC2BF240A5L and also selected PCI LAN with two options—IPv4 and IPv6. Choosing ATA HDD0 caused the screen to freeze and then reset itself. Plugging in the USB where Windows was installed didn't fix the issue, and selecting either IPv4 or IPv6 led to a loop where the top screen changed but returned to the same one. To install Windows, I switched the SSD from GPT to MBR, and after that, the installation worked smoothly. I've already tried resetting the BIOS settings. My UEFI version is GNET81WW (2.29). My laptop is a LENOVO Thinkpad W541. During the extended diagnostic test, the 'Drive self-test' displayed a warning: 'not applicable,' and all other tests passed. Thanks!
I tested some updates to the post. I reinstalled Windows from a fresh copy since the one on the flash drive seemed damaged. After moving back to the original USB installation, everything worked properly.
