Great thought, I’ll need to connect the real device to the VM. I recall from some time ago that using the official Windows Media Creator didn’t work either.

And yes, I can see several files there—there are many partitions the tool made for EFI on the USB drive. I also believe I missed mentioning that it wasn’t just an SSD problem; I tried installing it with booth ventoy and the same error appeared as before.

It looks like you're checking the partition layout. The EFI should be separate, the standard C:/ partition is normal, and there should be space for recovery or backup. Confirming this setup.
