USB installer works well for me. I've used Ventoy before and now plan to make a fresh USB installer for basic tasks like YouTube. Since the old one was from someone else's system that got upgraded, I might switch to Pop!_OS or another Linux distribution if needed.
Check Rufus and the newest WIn10 Pro download from Microsoft. If it doesn't work well, revert to Linux.
I had trouble getting the newest ISO to work. I managed to install it in a virtual machine on a physical drive and then swapped it in, though I’m not sure why it failed before. It might have been related to the ISO version used in the VM. I still can’t install it natively with the same one from the VM, so I don’t know what to do next.
I remember that issue when the Z210 launched. It wasn't about ISO or USB setup; it was related to Windows, the built-in AHCI/RAID controller, and conflicts with IASTOR.dll. It seems we needed three different IAstor drivers to get the image to work across multiple models when the "Z" line was released. We had to rename iastor.dll to iastor2.dll and update the inf file—probably a strange process.
