Hey there, I just started assembling a new PC and things aren’t going as planned yet. Initially I faced blue screen errors, but after installing chipset drivers it seemed to fix that. Now my main problem is connecting to the internet, and even trying to install LAN drivers with the motherboard’s .exe didn’t work. The installation window asks for admin rights but doesn’t respond. Updating via Device Manager also fails, showing “no suitable drivers” in the chosen folder. I’m not very tech-savvy and don’t know what to do. Do you have any tips or suggestions? My PC model is an Asus rog crosshair x607e hero, and I’ve tried both the included USB drivers and downloaded new ones from elsewhere.

Please tell me which Windows version you're running—W10 or W11.

Yes, it's possible to use Wi-Fi. You can download the drivers directly from Intel's website, though the 2021 version may be outdated.

I can access Wi-Fi, but connecting to it is still an issue. I’ll check the Intel drivers I downloaded from the Asus website.

Check the location—there’s no Wi-Fi available, or you might have missed the password.

Sure, I see. You have Wi-Fi and the password, but your computer isn’t detecting any available networks.

I believe I resolved the problem. It seems the Windows 10 version I was using was outdated (no internet access allowed). When trying Win11, it prompted me to connect to Wi-Fi, which functioned correctly... No blue screens have occurred since, and drivers installed immediately!
