It seems unusual for a Steam game to require such specific hardware. On an Intel rig, it might not be necessary unless you need its features. Check if it’s still functional and worth keeping. If not, consider removing it.

I also installed Battlefield 3 on my dual-core Intel system. It improves performance.

Heyyo, Yep! Lots of older game installers don't bother to check the current hardware before running that auto installer... pretty darn silly lol.

I'm unfamiliar with it, so I wouldn't be able to guess instantly. Based on my background working on older titles, it likely managed processes to run only on one core. In older games, if threads spread across multiple cores, issues can arise and cause crashes. For instance, Battlefield 2 often freezes on multi-core systems unless you adjust its affinity in Task Manager.
