Hey everyone. The MSI MPG Z790 Carbon WiFi with the 24-pin connector is brown, and your black parts make it noticeable. You're wondering if a permanent marker can be used to darken it permanently. Since the marker isn’t conductive, it shouldn’t affect circuits, but you should be careful about bleeding into sensitive areas. Just test a small spot first to avoid any issues. Thanks!

The marker works well. It will dry very quickly and won't cause bleeding.

It won't bleed or harm the device. Future note: The picture you shared is in a .HEIC format, which many users can't view. I recommend switching your iPhone to save its files as JPEGs or converting the image first. Edited September 23, 2023 by Godlygamer23

As long as it isn’t overly dark
Stay clear of the excess ink.

This wasn't what I initially understood.

In my experience, HEIC further reduces dynamic range, resulting in images that appear even more uniform and less vibrant than what phone cameras typically offer.

Noticed the comparison hasn't been made under varied conditions. Possibly my unique scenario or limited visibility prevented seeing the distinctions. I also moved to JPEG/MPEG earlier, instead of HEIC/HEVC due to compatibility challenges.
