You can save a Windows 7 ISO file onto a USB stick. Then, employ the activation key from your computer to start using it.

Your Windows license comes from the original manufacturer and cannot be transferred. According to the agreement you signed when you first used your laptop, you need to purchase a new Windows version. If you're a student, check with your IT department or school authorities—especially if you're enrolled in Dreamspark Premium or MSDNAA. You may receive Windows 7 or 8 for free. Otherwise, consider buying Windows 8 Pro for $70 (student discount available). Alternatively, you can search for deals but must pay for the product yourself.
