Today I started installing Windows 11. The process went well until I opened Steam. It didn<|pad|> page found no games on the D: partition (the non-system one). While setting up, I only changed the C: drive which already had WIN10. In the "SteamLibrary" folder, it showed 208 GB, which matched what I expected with all the games. But they weren’t there at all. The folder contained three items: "steamapps" (2.70 MB), "libraryfolder.vdf" (1 KB) and "steam.dll" (487 KB). I searched every possible location but found nothing. I tried renaming the library folder to .dir, used Steam’s repair tool (deleted and readded it), and even plugged in an external drive. Steam now automatically recognized the games there. I’m unsure what caused this and whether I could retrieve them. My internet seems slow, so it might take a few days to download again. I’ve attached a picture of the Steam folder for reference. If anyone can help, please let me know. I’d be happy to send pictures of my cat if that helps.
