You need to perform a clean installation of Windows 10 on the C drive while preserving your other partitions. Since the drives are large, plan for a long backup process. Follow a step-by-step guide to ensure everything is transferred safely. Let me know if you need detailed instructions!

Start with an upgrade and then search for the 'reset this PC' option in Windows 10. This will perform a fresh installation. It’s a good idea to familiarize yourself with Windows 10 first, ensuring all drivers are correct and everything functions properly. You can revert to the previous version after 30 days if needed, but not after a clean install.

Keep 10 on it... Drivers and accessories can be added later. It should feel like you’ve just inserted a CD and set it up, except the other drives remain visible.

You seem confused about the request. Are you trying to reinstall Windows 10 on your current system? When installing an operating system, there are choices for removing or retaining partitions and selecting where to install it. It could be useful to share details about the number of drives and partitions you have, as well as your preferred location for Windows 10.

It won't work like that. You can either retain your current license and get an upgrade, or purchase a new license with formatting and installation. You can't do both at once. Once you upgrade, you can clean up the setup using the 'reset this PC' option.

Upgrade from Windows 7 to 10 with a fresh setup... just one drive, three partitions, family, media, and C: (OS).
