Hello! Yesterday I attempted to upgrade my Windows version from 1709 to 1909, but it failed at the 91% mark and reported a download error. After retrying later, it still didn’t work. I checked Microsoft’s support pages for guidance, but the instructions seemed clear enough. I’m really unsure what to do now. Please help me out! (At least I hope so 😅)

If you can't locate a fix, reach out to Microsoft support and attempt to connect with a representative for remote assistance to resolve the issue.

Check if your system is receiving updates. It seems the update isn't progressing to 2004.

Download the latest update from Microsoft’s site, as I’ve done before when facing this issue. Also verify your DNS settings—PiHole is blocking Windows updates, which might affect the process depending on the server you’re using.

I don’t have a clear answer. It looks like you might have left something out. Could you clarify what you’re asking?

Updates can be frustrating to troubleshoot. We have several options, but starting with a safe mode Windows update is the simplest approach. It helps eliminate malware as a potential cause. Give it a try and tell us what happens.

This doesn’t seem to go well with what I’m doing, since I tend to make mistakes often. I’m a bit nervous, but after watching some videos, I think it’s actually quite simple for me. Lol!
