Hello, you need to install a 2-slot GPU into your third slot on the motherboard. It might be an ITX model, but there isn’t enough space between the front panel connectors and the heatsink. You may have to purchase adapters, though I can’t locate them easily. I’m fine with losing the front USB3 port, so this shouldn’t be too big of a problem. However, keeping the USB 2 connection is important. Maybe I misplaced my post, but I’m unsure how to proceed. Spoiler: it’s a bit tricky.
A single slot card cannot perform multiple functions at once because it is designed to handle just one type of card.
USB2 and fans/rgb are usually small enough to sit under the card’s cooler, but you’ll miss the thick USB3/USB-C option. There’s no magic solution—either it fits directly or you need to opt for a full ATX motherboard with a front-mounted connector.
Transitioned to CPU designs, motherboard configurations, and memory systems.
the available options are limited, but I think a solution exists. I’m planning to test Kraken G12 with the RX5700xt.
It seems you're questioning the placement of the device. You suggest keeping the primary GPU in the first slot unless you have two GPUs, which doesn't make much sense.
