BitLocker typically secures just the Windows partition, not the whole drive.

Previously, I used BitLocker to choose between encrypting the boot sector or the whole drive. My current plan is to set up BackBox, making a separate partition outside the MBR for GRUB and reserving space. Then install Windows into that area and use the Windows Boot Manager to start BackBox. After that, BitLocker will handle the disk encryption...? For now, I installed BackBox directly on the laptop with LUKS encryption. Do you have better suggestions?
