You have a UM350 running Linux Mint with excellent performance. You're looking for better audio quality but are struggling with Pulse Audio Equalizer settings. The equalizer seems to be causing distortion, and the crystalizer option isn't helping. Consider exploring alternative equalizer programs or adjusting your system's audio settings manually.

Check out JamesDSP. I use it to fine-tune my headphones and it really changed the experience—day or night. I’m not fully sure how much it affects regular music, but it’s a personal choice depending on your setup.

I work with EasyEffects. It functions somewhat like EqualiserAPO on Linux... roughly.
