Sure, you can keep the same Windows installation even after swapping your motherboard. Just make sure the CPU, RAM, and other components match, and you should be good to go. The ASUS B85M E board looks solid for a price, so it shouldn’t cause major issues.

It should be fine, you likely removed the chipset drivers before switching, and installing the fresh ones after installation should work. Actually, I didn’t set them up on my new system and everything functioned properly.
