Switch to another port on a different route, excluding the fridge area. Since the UPS isn't maintaining power flow, the internal battery appears to be non-functional.

It might be the EMF from the fridge motor affecting the USB connection, particularly with a USB 3 device. Shielding could help, though effectiveness is uncertain. A grounding problem is also possible. It doesn’t seem to be a UPS issue since the computer runs normally otherwise, but the line filtering might be faulty allowing the motor spike to pass. Do you have another UPS you could use for testing?

This is a fairly new ups. If the ups is not providing continuity then the pc will turn off (not this case). Only the peripheral attached to it.

It's the sole option available. No grounding system is present in the Philippines, and most people here don't rely on it. Yes, I could attempt that approach. The refrigerator and computer are connected to the same power source.
