I connected a USB to the slot on the motherboard, but the PC stopped working immediately. The fans ran at full speed, there was no display, and the system beeped during startup and reached BIOS. Did something cause the failure?

It appears the system boots into BIOS but doesn't proceed further. You have a Dual Xeon v4 2997 with an RTX 2060 Super, a 1000W PSU, and Coarsair power supply. A keyboard USB is connected, yet it takes around 10 minutes to reach BIOS.

It doesn't respond when I try to share the screen. Please wait a moment.

Would you like to test a different keyboard? It seems the issue might be with the current one, as it appears unresponsive due to a faulty keyboard.

Tried it on a different device, keyboard functions correctly. It takes about 5 minutes to reach the post screen, which seems unusual. Please wait for the post screen to load before trying again, or use another keyboard.

Beginning to resemble a motherboard or PSU problem. Clear CMOS if you haven’t already. Are there any error messages? You likely don’t have any. Then remove the board from the case and attempt to power it on with the CPU, one RAM stick (reinstall if needed), and a display adapter if missing. Leave out all other components like drives. Use a screwdriver to connect the power pins. From that point, the only options are swapping parts or sending it to a repair shop for testing.

I resolved it by shutting down the PSU and then restoring power by turning it back on, which worked well. Thanks for your effort!
