Attempted it, but can't even execute it through the console. It's been blocked by my firewall, nothing works.

Curious. I just tested the link you shared and received the same error. I haven’t downloaded it from HP directly before. I tried this version from download.com and it functioned, provided I ran it with admin privileges: http://download.cnet.com/HP-USB-Disk-Sto...74082.html GL.
