I have a GTX 1060 6GB, i3-8100 and 8GB of RAM. I am using
these settings
, but not getting anywhere near the same FPS with nearly the same specs. I get a bunch of stuttering and around 25 FPS which occasionally goes up to 50. I don't think my game is meant to be lagging like this because it is on my SSD. Any way to fix this?

The provided text discusses optimizing video playback by addressing potential hardware bottlenecks. It highlights the importance of a powerful graphics card, sufficient RAM (specifically noting the impact of RAM configuration), and the operating system's performance. The text emphasizes that simply having a high-end graphics card doesn’t guarantee optimal results without considering other factors like RAM speed and OS version, all of which can significantly affect video playback performance.

If playing single player, you should get close.
If playing multi player not a chance. CPU requirements are much higher on multi player

This response focuses on optimizing gaming performance by monitoring and managing system resources like CPU, GPU, and RAM. To achieve peak performance while gaming, it’s crucial to understand and control these factors. Tools like MSI After Burner can be utilized for precise temperature monitoring, allowing you to adjust fan speeds or implement overclocking strategies to maximize your hardware's potential. Monitoring your thermals is particularly important if you are using a laptop. If you want to really push your system, consider MSI After Burner or even just leaving Task Manager running in the background to observe resource usage while playing games.

GTA V frequently experiences random crashes, often linked to thread management issues. This is exacerbated by running other applications, particularly web browsers like Chrome, which consume significant RAM and force the game to utilize the system's swap file for storage, leading to further instability. To mitigate this issue, it’s recommended to close unnecessary programs before launching GTA V and avoid using resource-intensive browsers simultaneously. For detailed troubleshooting steps, refer to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J8DQl_VRiPw

this appears to be driver related, but can't be certain. other people are experiencing similar issue with other games too. and what i see is GPU 0 - Copy.
some people have reported fixing this by using DDU to clean out the drivers and fresh install them. i would use the latest driver version.
another possibility is that the game is using the iGPU. if you have that enabled, i would try disabling it.
other than that, i don't know. hopefully others will have some more advice.
🙁

After removing my graphics card drivers using DDU and installing new, updated drivers via Nvidia GeForce Experience, the issue persists. I’m trying to determine if the game is utilizing my integrated graphics processor.

(Updated screenshot reflecting driver installation)

UPDATE: I successfully disabled the iGPU in the BIOS; however, GPU usage remains minimal. What other solutions might be effective?
