1) Created a USB Windows Installation Disk (from computer #2 -the new one)
Both Windows 10 machines
2) Have only the physical C: Storage installed in the old computer
3) After going through the steps to install Windows, (Selecting the advanced option-since Windows is not installed)
4) I receive the following error message:
Drive 0-Partition 1 128mb MSR (Reserved)
Drive 0-Partition 2 3726 GB Primary
No configuration possible or USB or IEE1394 storage devices.
Options to format storage are greyed out and unresponsive
The Partition 2 is referring to the second storage on my new computer. The old computer, the only one I am attempting to reinstall Windows has only the 500 gb storage installed as SATA 0
I returned to the new computer, Computer #2 and removed the physical storage that serves as a D: Storage.
I reloaded the USB Windows Installation storage and the same results as shown above.
How do I get the USB installation routine to recognize my "new" C: storage as SATA 0?
Would it assist to format the "new" C: storage?
I could install it as a second or third SATA storage on the new computer and reformat it?

Sure you could place it into your new computer and delete all partitions then format it in Disk Management.
But better is to use the new computer with all ITS STORAGE disconnected. Place that "C" storage on there and start the Windows install on that old storage on the new machine. I only want you to reach the part where you delete partitions. Delete them so storage is raw, STOP don't format. Manually power off machine. Now place old storage back into old system and see if you can progress installing Windows 10 there.
I have encountered issues where using Microsoft's USB tool to create your OS installer just refuses to function on some older computers.
I switched to Rufus to consistently build mine and so far so good.

Continue to encounter issues with Windows Installation recognizing my C: Storage.
No storage devices are displayed when selecting target storage....Unable to load drivers, even after transferring driver files to USB stick.
