Inquiry: After relocating my computer, it has started to reboot unpredictably.
UPDATE: So the restarts intensified last night and today it's more or less dead. No output to video, keyboard doesn't light up in any way.
Whatever the issue was originally my PSU mistake has messed things way beyond that now. Time to hand it over to a repair place, along with the HDDs.
What a mess. I still don't know what the restarting was about and can't guarantee it will be fixed after forking out to repair whatever's happened now.
Have you ever succeeded in discovering the answer?
I am experiencing the same problem. After relocating it from a different apartment, the computer often restarts, primarily when the GPU is under strain, such as when launching a game or entering a game world during loading screens, etc. It seldom occurs when idle.
I have occasionally been able to complete Cinebench GPU stress tests without any problems.
I've also attempted various solutions, but Event Viewer is not indicating any errors apart from the abrupt restart.
Rebooting is a very frequent indication of various issues. It would be much more effective to initiate a discussion with complete information about your computer and a thorough account of your issue along with the measures you've attempted to resolve it, instead of just responding to an unrelated thread from someone with a somewhat comparable problem from three years prior.
