Hi, I just purchased this thermal paste to swap out the original one on my 6600k and my Gigabyte GeForce GTX 980 Ti XTREME Gaming graphics card. I'm worried about how my heatsink will handle it because it's a high-performance model, and some advice suggests avoiding copper-based heatsinks. (I'm really new to this after buying the paste.) My CPU cooler is a Phanteks PH-TC12DX, and I have the same concern for my GPU heatsink. Thanks for your time!

your heatsink features a copper base.

some references advise against using it with copper, but what does the manufacturer specify?
it lists aluminum bases, though that applies mainly to their liquid metal designs. where did you find the note about not using it on copper?

I believe you're referring to the liquid metal mentioned by hwlr77. I recently used it for a build a few weeks back with a copper heatsink, and it didn't match any details from the kryonaut instructions.
