Hello, your new Asus Prime Z790-P WiFi board is compatible with Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM for AMD systems. You should be able to activate XMP settings as well. Let me know if you need more details!

Yes, it uses the same PCB and memory chips as the XMP version of the memory kit, only with a different sticker and SPD programming. No, but EXPO should be possible—just set the right parameters manually and turn it off if it doesn't activate automatically.

It depends on the context, but generally yes—long-term stability often faces challenges.

I previously worked with an EXPO kit on Intel (G.Skill Flare X5 instead of Corsair Vengeance, but still) and functioned well. The board in use was a Z690 Unify-X. The main problems arose from one of the original BIOS versions where the EXPO profile failed to boot, though that BIOS handled DDR5 6000 generally fine—working at 5600 and 6400 only. I’m unsure how much EXPO is affected or if the BIOS itself is faulty. Once I moved to a newer revision, the profile worked perfectly without stability issues, except for the switch due to a 2x24GB kit upgrade.
