I checked the RAM usage recently and it seems to be quite high. With 32 GB and 3200Mhz, I think the current usage is excessive, especially at the start of my tasks. I suspect it might be a virus or something similar, so I removed Windows and reinstalled it from scratch. I’m unsure if this is normal or if there’s an issue. I’ve attached some images for reference. Could it be related to the RAM brand? I’ve owned these for over two years without any problems before.
The issue seems to be that your system uses a lot of memory even when basic tasks are running. It’s normal for Windows to need some RAM, but opening many tabs or apps can quickly exceed 7GB.
I've checked the Task Manager before, but now it's different. When I use Photoshop or Premiere for work, my RAM usage drops to 5 or 4 GB (total). It wasn't 7 GB like before. I'm worried about possible issues because I run several programs that need a lot of memory. Back then, reaching 23 GB used meant the system was using about 80-90% of its capacity. I don’t want my work to stop or get lost due to crashes. This is just curiosity and concern.
The page file is available for that purpose. It keeps things running smoothly despite the back-and-forth discussions, designed specifically to avoid crashes from running out of RAM. Also, that RamMAP is terrible. Resource Monitor runs efficiently, using just 50MB when idle instead of the full 1.1GB.
