Inquiry about daisy chain power GPU
Hi guys,
just heard about the daisy chain concept from PSU to GPU. Surprisingly, I'm using a single PCIe cable to power both the 12HVPWR extension connectors that come with my GPU package. I wasn't aware of this recommendation, but my PC still runs fine and draws around 270 watts when I check the Riva tuner. Should I be concerned about long-term performance? Or should I split into two PCIe slots for better power delivery?
I'm using a Galaxy 4070Ti with a 12HVPWR extension, two PCIe slots each with dual connectors, and a single cable that has a dual connector at the end. I also have a Fractal Ion+ Platinum 760W.
Cheers

Referring to your PSU's manual:

page 9 explains that you can connect 3xPCIe harnesses, which provide 2x6+2pin PCIe connectors. This setup allows you to link each RT4070Ti adapter to a single PCIe connector.
