Hello, your questions about cloning an OS are clear. The idea is to transfer the OS partition from the HDD without removing it, then move it to the SSD partition. Both drives connect via SATA ports on the board, and both have the operating system installed. In System Properties > Advanced > Settings > Default Operating System, you can change the boot OS afterward. Will this approach succeed? Or is using a USB connection required for the process? After cloning, both drives should run the same OS, so switching the default from the list shouldn't cause issues.

BIOS settings allow you to switch the boot device. Cloning a drive using SATA or USB does not affect this process.

Initially, it's best to start with just the new drive. Once that's set up, you can connect the old drive afterward.
