Hello,
Is it typical for my 970 boost to reach 1418mhz during games? I haven't made any changes and my friends only get to 1396 when playing.
Also, are these temperatures normal or do they seem a bit too high for this card at stock?
Idle: 36C
In game/Underload: 69C
Thanks.

It looks like you're on the right track. The variation in temperatures could be due to differences in ambient conditions or the card's voltage settings to achieve higher clock speeds. 69°C is definitely acceptable.

Thanks for your message.
Warm temperatures are generally considered to be above 65°F (18°C), while hot conditions are typically around 90°F (32°C) or higher.
Regarding your card performance, it could be due to various factors like your hand strength or luck.
Yes, cards often operate at different temperatures, and differences in performance can happen even with the same setup.
Your card’s higher output might simply be a result of chance or specific conditions.
Your observation about the temperature difference is also typical.

They're both in the same room so it's not ambient temp, I think you might be right about the voltage, my voltage is slightly higher than hers, it's either that or my massive Cryorig h5 cpu cooler restricting a bit of airflow.
