Hi,
I’m considering installing a VPN on my new computer. I’ve been thinking about Avast VPN because I use Avast Premium Security, but the reviews were just average. I’ve also checked NordVPN, which received great feedback. My main concern is whether NordVPN will work with my Avast security software. I’m seeking a user-friendly option that integrates well with Avast.
Thank you for your help and suggestions!
Thanks!

yes. and using extra large fonts only makes the thread a bit bothersome to view and might discourage many from trying to respond.

You think VPN software offers some advantage? It might just be a waste of time.

The VPN functionality mainly depends on the number of servers in various countries and the associated cost. I use Avast VPN, which operates smoothly with numerous location servers. I've also experimented with Nord VPN, but prefer Avast for its reliability across devices like phones and tablets. For privacy reasons, I currently have Avast VPN installed on my mobile and tablet devices.

Thank you for your reply. But I don't see clearly, so I need the extra large fonts!! 🙄 What would you do if you had an eye problem? 🙄

A secure server, but that's why I'm here, to ask for advice.

Thank you! I own one desktop, three iPhones, one old Mac laptop, and one old iPad. Would you suggest purchasing the Avast VPN?

A VPN service doesn't offer a server. You can establish an encrypted connection to a host beyond your IP address. If you're aiming to bypass geographic limitations, this could be helpful. For extra security, the advantage is limited. Most data traffic is already secured via HTTPS or similar methods.
A VPN client doesn't secure access to your local network from a distant location.
Whether a VPN offers value depends on your needs—only you can decide. I don't use one.

I actually do that too, and I use corrective lenses.

I don't get what you're referring to... I'm new to VPNs, which is why I'm asking here. From what I've read about Avast and Nord VPNs, they offer a private server. But I'm not sure what you mean, so could you explain it in simple terms? Thanks!
