Hey there! After swapping out the hardware on your PC, you’ll want to check if any adjustments are needed for the operating system or software. Changing the hard drive usually means reinstalling the OS, but the motherboard might require different steps—like updating boot settings. Don’t worry, I’m here to help clarify these details for you! Thanks a lot! :-)

Yes, you can install hardware without a driver. DDU is a tool used for connecting and managing network adapters.

It varies based on what you've swapped out. Swapping the motherboard usually means no major adjustments unless you've overclocked the CPU or modified BIOS settings, then you'll need to reapply changes. Also, make sure to download the latest chipset drivers and recommended drivers for your motherboard. Also, do you recognize the KTM in your profile picture?

upgrading the hard drive allows you to clone your operating system onto another drive and start from there. there are tools available for this purpose. studying cloning and hard drive migration is recommended. regarding the motherboard, a clean installation is preferred. some leftover drivers from previous setups could cause issues with the new board. your Windows license is linked to your motherboard. if you're using an OEM OS, you'd need a new license key, but you can find affordable keys on eBay for about ten dollars.
