Inquiries regarding Elite:Dangerous Coop
I was curious about how multiplayer works in the game. I wanted to convince my friend to play it and eventually team up with me. I’m not sure what cooperative play would look like. If we met in hyperspace, could we travel together? I saw some mentions of joint hyperspace travel but couldn’t find details. What about raiding parties? Are they common? You could explore signals to spot transport ships, right? When hunting bounties on pirates, do you split the rewards or keep it all for yourself? Thanks for helping me figure out these unclear parts of Elite: Dangerous—it’s a lot to unpack!
Its funny that there's little to no coverage of the game on this forum. I have acquired the game as a gift a few days ago and am loving it regardless of me knowing what I am doing or not. I believe the next update 1.2 will introduce the party-esque system. So you will be able to link up and share bounties. I hope I read that right at least. I will post the source when I find it.
It's unusual to hear back after so much time; a response is welcome. If it arrives soon, 1.2 will be fine. Could you share your commander's name? Having more connections on Elite isn't necessarily bad.
