Hey everyone! I've just begun playing Dying Light, but it's been a bit of a struggle. My computer kept lagging, and I couldn't save the game even after trying a few times. About two days ago it finally worked perfectly! I'm a bit of a rush when it comes to the main story, but I've also taken some side quests along the way. Here are my thoughts on a few things:

First, I've got all the DLCs and the Ultimate Edition, but I'm not sure if I should dive into the side content right now. From what I read, the DLC seems to be more about exploring new areas and getting new weapons, rather than just ending the story. I'm trying to avoid spoilers since I really like the main plot.

Second, I'm wondering if it's worth completing every side quest. Sure, upgrades are nice, but will I get too weak later if I don't have good gear or level up enough?

Third, should I buy weapons or just scavenge for them? Some items are super expensive, and repairing them feels limited to a few uses. I'm not sure if I'm doing it right.

Fourth, I noticed that night missions give more XP for killing monsters. Should I focus on those or stick to daytime? I'm around level 20-24, so it's a bit unclear.

Lastly, I completely forgot what I was planning to ask. If you have any tips or advice, please share! I'm trying to improve and just want to make the most of this experience. Thanks for your help!

For questions 2 and 3, side missions provide a solid way to collect loot and experience points. 3) Acquiring firearms relies on chance; if your budget is tight, engage in side activities and explore to discover some, or purchase them if none are available.

Not completing the side missions means you won’t be too weak when you finish. After finishing the main game, I only tackled a few side quests and got through it smoothly. Once I finished the game, I began doing the side missions (before DLC added more content). They were quite enjoyable.
