You're going to reinstall Windows from a USB drive. Your drivers will be affected—Windows may attempt to reinstall them automatically, but the process could take some time depending on how many drivers need updating. In the Windows installation wizard, you'll see instructions to remove or modify certain files; follow those steps carefully for best results. Thanks in advance for your question!

You’ll need to download the drivers yourself because the Windows setup will delete your files anyway (it resets them). 2 The installation will prompt whether you wish to adjust your storage configuration, such as dividing a 2TB drive into multiple partitions.

Check if your device came with the SSD and whether you need to reinstall anything. For using a single C drive as your main SSD, ensure it’s properly formatted and configured correctly.

Typically you should possess backup files or references for reinstalling laptop drivers, though this varies by brand and model. When I had one, it provided software to set up Windows and drivers, creating a bootable partition—likely the recommended setting.

Windows Update will handle the necessary drivers. There are numerous thorough tutorials about the Windows installer. For example, you can find instructions at https://www.windowscentral.com/how-do-cl..._windows10. Essentially, you just need to choose the largest available partition and decide whether to retain files from a prior setup.
