I noticed this question appears elsewhere but lacks a clear resolution. I’ve asked the same, and I’m hoping someone here can help. If I purchased BF2042 from the Epic Games Store, would it appear in my EA library? Can I launch it directly from there without using another launcher? All my other Battlefield titles are already in my EA collection, and I’d like to keep them all accessible. I prefer not to install extra launchers unless necessary. I also have a discount code ready for the Epic Games Store, which is why I’m thinking about buying this game there. Thanks ahead!

All EA titles rely on Origin for digital rights management. Whether you purchase from any retailer, you must possess an Origin account along with the Origin/EA client software.

First avoid purchasing EA games. Secondly, to buy games properly, you must install all launchers. Use STEAM GOG or EA EPIC BATTLENET ROCKSTAR-CLUB-THING UPLOAD! Install everything! No exceptions, just don't buy the game and rely on the launcher.
