You're exploring how game development practices might influence ease of use over time. It's a thoughtful angle on consistency and reliability in tools. The question touches on whether reusing a GPU or engine from past projects affects performance and effort today. It's about understanding patterns rather than jumping to conclusions.

The impact varies by game. For the engine, the CPU week is typically the most affected part.

Engineers usually keep most engines running for the next match, which means they might appear improved after a few months to a couple of years, though it could slightly affect performance. In most cases, the difference in performance isn't very significant.

It seems Fallout 4 shares similarities with Skyrim and Fallout 3 in terms of engine, though textures are noticeably better. Performance appears solid given these visual improvements.

even with identical engines, a newer game might feel significantly harder due to additional features, improved physics, expansive environments, richer details, and a greater number of non-player characters.

In theory, if a 13L4Z3-1T can handle Skyrim, it should likely support Fallout 4 as well. But there might be factors you're not considering.

It comes down to how the developers handle the game over the next few years, especially for newer releases using the same engine.

Skyrim runs more smoothly than Fallout 4, and Warface is simpler than Crysis 3.

This depends on how the creators use it, not the system itself.

The engine serves as a means Example. Each game relies on the same CryEngine used in Crysis 3, yet they all offer unique experiences https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Cr...ryEngine_3
