In short, when I play Fortnite online I notice a slight increase in input lag, and I’m not sure why. Could you assist me?

Have you checked the system's performance metrics? Do you notice any changes in frame rate or frame drops? Was the input primarily through keyboard or mouse, or a combination of both?

there are no noticeable fps drops and cpu usage stays between 3-5%, mostly affecting the mouse. when i try to perform quick actions in fortnite, i have to slow down or else it won't register due to the delay. the keyboard also feels a bit sluggish.

And when you're not streaming, everything is fine? The streaming shouldn't cause such an impact, especially with your low CPU usage. Or perhaps that's the problem. Your CPU is quite capable for encoding, while the GPU isn't the top model.

I believed the year 1660 was quite suitable for it?

it might also be connected to input latency versus frame drop versus lag. the network might not be stable enough to support the needed upload speed for streaming, while also managing the download speed required for gameplay. do you notice a rise in ping during streaming?

my ping stays between 20 to 30 consistently, and my download speed is 500 while upload is 25.

According to what I've learned, it's around 1050Ti from the RTX 2XXX line. Attempt to encode using the CPU and check if performance improves.

I fixed the problem. Basically, I overclocked my RAM from 2400 MHz to 3000MHz and no longer feel the input lag. Thanks for the help!
