Here’s a rewritten version of the text, aiming for clarity and conciseness:

“I'm experiencing inconsistent performance in games like Fortnite and occasionally Overwatch. My PC is generally powerful – an i7-8700K with a GTX 1080 FTW2, paired with 16GB of GSkill Ripjaw RAM at 3200MHz and a fast SSD – and typically achieves over 144 FPS. However, the frame rate fluctuates dramatically, sometimes feeling sluggish or experiencing input lag, particularly in demanding games like Fortnite. This inconsistent behavior can be frustrating. I’ve tried using XMP profile for my RAM and enabled Game Boost settings, which occasionally improves things. Capping my FPS at 144 seems to exacerbate the problem, similar to having V-Sync on. I suspect there might be an underlying issue with game optimization or driver conflicts. My PC specs are: i7 8700K, GTX 1080 FTW2, 16 GB GSkill Ripjaw @ 3200, 2TB Seagate HD 250GB SSD.”

CS 1.6 on RTX 2070. Some days I have no input lag, and some days it's unfixable. Tried router restarts, computer restarts, and a clean Nvidia driver reinstall – nothing works. 😭
