Input Handling in Simulation Environments
I wasn't sure which forum to submit my question to, so I'm posting here. When using a controller to play games, is there any tool to adjust button sensitivity? Some titles need you to tap a button for a specific action, making it hard to press consistently without unintended effects. Thanks in advance.
Beyond the sticks and triggers you can tweak, the deadzone offers some flexibility. A PS3 controller might suit better since it includes pressure-sensitive buttons, though software customization is uncertain. Most other controllers rely on physical movement for activation, which wouldn't be possible through software alone. You could potentially insert an object between the rubber and plastic buttons. Re-reading your point, it seems you're looking for something different. You might also consider adjusting how you hold the controller, that's the main thing.
