Hey there, I’m trying to work from home these days with my home and laptop computers sharing the same monitors. Most of my setups have multiple input options, so they connect to both devices. On my previous GPUs (Nvidia GTX970/RTX2080) it worked fine, but now with the AMD 6950XT it’s causing some issues. I usually use the screen buttons to switch inputs, and reconnecting the cable in the home PC fixes it. I’d like to get this back to normal. Generally, starting from my home PC is smooth, but once the work PC boots up I can switch inputs without problems. I can now use both screens for my job. Occasionally I want to switch to my home PC for some work or relaxation. On the Nvidia side it’s fine, but with the AMD card it’s not so reliable anymore. If I try to switch back to my home PC on Monitor 1, it just turns off and comes back to HDMI input. It doesn’t pick up any signal at all. My home PC still runs, and a third monitor is connected directly showing a signal. If I detach the DP cable from the home PC for a moment and plug it back in, I can switch immediately. Switching back to Monitor 2 on the work PC takes a few seconds but works again. It changes slowly, more of a challenge than before. The setup looks like: Monitor 1 – DisplayPort → Home PC HDMI → Work PC (HDMI). That’s a bit confusing. Hope it’s something simple I missed in the AMD settings.

I just refreshed the bios after reading many comparable problems—sadly, nothing changed.
