Over the last two months, I've experienced significant input lag during competitive gaming, negatively impacting my performance. This manifests as inconsistent mouse movement, resembling mouse acceleration on ice. Despite numerous troubleshooting steps, including testing at a different location with identical hardware and software configurations (HP 25x monitor), the issue persists.
I have attempted the following solutions: relocating my PC to a friend’s house; utilizing a new Logitech MX model O mouse; experimenting with various mouse pads; disabling VSync, G-Sync, and FreeSync; enabling ultra low latency mode and maximizing all NVIDIA settings for optimal performance; toggling “enhance pointer precision”; and testing with different configurations. The problem remains consistent across multiple games, creating the sensation of both vsync and mouse acceleration being enabled.
The input lag is not apparent during cursor movement on the desktop. My system specifications are as follows: RTX 2060, 8GB RAM, Intel Core i7-4790 CPU 3.60 GHz. I require assistance from someone experienced with this type of issue to resolve this frustrating problem, which severely impairs my accuracy in games and ruins the overall experience.

Additionally, check the control panel for default speed settings across all devices.
Are you certain it’s apparent when using a desktop? Because my problem occurs across all devices, including desktops. When did you initially observe this? Did an older computer experience the issue?

I experience the same issue across multiple platforms and games including desktop, Valorant, and Grand Theft Auto V. This problem has persisted for six months after a two-year period without issues. The input lag in Valorant renders gameplay impossible, and I have VSync disabled.
