Stuck on the screen, then it freezes to the driver for the NPIP watchdog—possibly due to USB or SSD issues. Would it be simpler to reinstall Windows instead of dealing with troubleshooting?
If you have nothing important on the drive then yeah it's easier to reinstall it but on new drive if it was indeed disk issue. I would troubleshoot first to find problem then make decisions because other option you could clone your old disk to new disk and continue from there. Up to you really.
I chose to duplicate everything onto my Kubuntu version. Fortunately, both drives were 2TB and didn’t have much space.
