Initiate restart when under stress
Initiate restart when under stress
It's been nearly five months since I upgraded my PC and still face issues under load or while gaming. I made several changes: switched the socket from 775 to 1155, upgraded the RAM, replaced my RX560D with a 950, and changed the PSU from Cooler Master Elite 400 to Antec 520W High Current Gamer. I considered buying a boxed PSU locally but found it unavailable and too expensive online. The problem persists, especially with frequent restarts. I’m frustrated because nothing seems to resolve it. I’m unsure if voltage issues in my area are the cause, but my old PC worked fine with a 480W PSU. Any advice would be appreciated.
No, I haven't performed a fresh installation of Windows with the new hardware.
I realized the issue began after a strong rainstorm that made the lights flicker. The PC restarted during that weather. It's been raining for two days, and the problem seems to occur more often in wet conditions.
