Hi there. I’m looking for some assistance because the results I find on Google seem too limited or outdated, and the issues aren’t being resolved. When trying to download TC:TD, it crashes immediately. It works fine in offline mode but fails when switching to online and starting the download. I’ve reinstalled it many times, even used CCleaner without success. Anyone experienced with similar problems has any advice?

Typically the issues with Ubi disappear quickly in a computer-related context, but this one remains persistent.

Can't assist further, but I’d attempt this if I faced the issue and nothing else would help:
1. Uninstall Uplay
2. Navigate to Program Files (x86) and remove the Ubisoft folder
3. Proceed to appdata --> Local and delete the Ubisoft Game Launcher folder
4. Reinstall Uplay

Attempted it, but nothing happened. The program crashes immediately as soon as the download begins.

Many complaints surround Uplay and Ubisoft. I haven’t had any issues with Uplay itself, nor with the platform overall. The only game problems I’ve faced from Ubisoft were with Rainbow Six Siege, and I can’t connect with my friends in that game. Is this widespread frustration, or is it mainly due to the Ubisoft brand? It’s similar to the reaction toward Trump—everyone participates, so it spreads.

When you set up Uplay using a game installer, it often encounters problems. I learned this from observing how Driver San Francisco behaves in Steam without Uplay already installed. Try a clean install of the newest Uplay version and check if it resolves the issues.

I've reinstalled it multiple times or more. A new version came from a download on the website. Everything functioned smoothly until one point it suddenly stopped working. The only game I can play from Ubi is The Crew, which starts through Steam, but only on the first launch after the PC boots up. If I play it again later, it crashes.
