It seems unusual. Are you certain these codes are correct? I’ve always used *72xxx-xxx-xxxx and *73 to forward and cancel. Of course, I’m in the US, maybe you’re in another country with different codes? If you still have the old device, see if you can enter it via Wi-Fi to disable it. Otherwise, you might need to reach out to your carrier. Do you have any Wi-Fi numbers? I use a few extra ones to block telemarketers and unwanted calls, and I’ve faced similar problems with Google Voice. It’s convenient for home lines with strong internet, but I don’t think it’s ideal for daily driving.
