Initiate EUI setup process
hi! i have : i3-4150 and gigabyte b85m-ds3h-a iam using windows 10 and i wont to install ubuntu( dual system) ,but after the first two steps i get this message : force uefi installation what i need to do step by step to install ubuntu without losing any data from my pc.
I'm not sure about the specifics, but it could be a legacy BIOS, UEFI, or a mix of both.
I have limited and outdated understanding, so this might not be very helpful. I recall that for dual boot setups, things usually need separate space for non-Windows software, allowing it to manage its own partitions. Drives can hold multiple partitions, though Windows often prefers whole drives as single units. Sometimes there were methods to reduce the size of Windows partitions without losing their purpose. Multi-boot might sometimes need three or more partitions, with the system choosing which one to start from. I came across a link for the board, but I'm not sure if it will be useful.
