Initiate a fresh restart of the build process.
Random restarts and noticeable driver problems on the new build. Everything functioned properly at first. Temperatures appear normal, but the system doesn’t restart during any stress tests. During playtime in Wow, I briefly looked away from the screen and the computer would randomly reset. Similar occurrences happened in other situations. I’ve installed all available drivers via Windows Update and AMD software, reinstalled Windows or ran the repair utility. I tried cleaning the GPU and CPU cooler, verified cables, and reformatted all drives to start over. Unless someone suggests an alternative, I ended up disabling certain GPU settings to avoid conflicts (core isolation). My UPS is a 1000W unit with no BSOD—just slow restarts. I suspect the issue lies with the motherboard. Checked event logs; the system logged a shutdown event on 12/6/2024 at 9:03 PM. The key details point to a potential hardware or configuration problem. I’m considering a fresh start unless you have better advice.
Reviewed Microsoft's website, attempting a fix for Event 41. Navigated through settings: System → Power and Sleep → Additional Power Settings → Choose what the power buttons do → Change settings currently available. Made sure "Turn on fast start up" was unchecked. Saved changes.
