Hi everyone, I just cleared my Omen 15-ce020ng and reinstalled Windows. The issue started after I updated all drivers from HP. Whenever the notebook runs for about 15 minutes, the core stays at 100% usage from the system process. Restarting helps for a while, but it keeps happening randomly. I tried several fixes—safe mode, full malware scan, SFC/Scannow, updated updates, BIOS reinstall, and even reinstalling Windows—but nothing works. I’m worried about selling this notebook now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I haven't tried it yet, as I just wrapped up about an hour ago. I'll let it run overnight and check if the core stays at 100%.

Have you considered checking the settings or letting it operate for a while to observe its behavior?

Let it operate briefly, or you may stop it and check if it maintains the main function after restart.

The issue hasn't been resolved as expected. I've stopped, disabled, and restarted it again without fixing the problem.

Use Process Explorer to obtain a more detailed understanding of which service or program is responsible for the problem.

It remains at 100%? Only 9% usage in the process explorer isn't that significant.
