Hi! Thanks for sharing your situation. Let me rephrase it for you. Yesterday I took my GPU out of my PC, so now I only have the built-in graphics (Intel i5-3570). I connected a VGA cable from the PC to my TV. When I power on the PC, I get two beeps. I think this is normal due to RAM issues, but I’ve checked all four RAM slots one by one and still hear those beeps. After resetting the CMOS battery with a jumper and even removing the battery, the beeps persist when starting up. I’m sure it’s not related to RAM or CMOS. (I also took out the hard drives and unplugged all USB cables.) The screen stays black, and I can’t access BIOS to check for problems. I don’t know what type of motherboard I have—it’s not listed anywhere on the board.
I'm not sure about the exact brand, but the beep pattern can help identify it. Long beeps, short beeps, or a mix of one long and one short are common indicators.
I think it's a ready-made unit because Lenovo doesn't design its own boards, so can you tell me the model number?
The sole identifier I discovered was located on the rear panel of the PC, labeled S/N M18138.
It seems there might be a problem with the graphics card. Can you use the DisplayPort connection? Make sure to switch on the monitor before the PC, which can help with some issues. After removing the battery, did you let it rest for 5 minutes, then unplug the PC and press the power button?
