your ssd seems to be experiencing issues by itself, possibly due to excessive updates or driver conflicts. switching to a fresh install on your windows 7 system might resolve some problems, but you'll likely need to reinstall all installed games and programs from scratch. since you're using an hdd with a 240gb drive and have steam and other software stored there, a clean installation could help, though you'll still need to format the ssd and re-download any necessary files. this is your first build, so it's normal to feel a bit uncertain—feel free to ask for more details in the comments. thanks!

Consider starting with a disk cleanup as an administrator. Open the search bar in the start menu and type "cleanmgr" without quotes, but don’t press enter. Click on the "cleanmgr" that appears and select Run as Administrator. Allow it to scan for and remove unnecessary files. If leftover update files are the problem, Windows Update Cleanup can assist effectively. This process also helps eliminate other temporary files no longer needed.

I completed the usual disk cleanup and removed the Windows error files, but the data keeps coming back slowly without any effort from my side. Additionally, whenever I power off the computer, it keeps asking me to configure Windows and waits for about two hours before moving on, then repeats the same process for roughly twenty minutes when I turn it back on.

CCleaner doesn't handle Windows Update Cleanup. Still, it excels in removing temporary files and similar tasks.

I discovered the cleaner actually eliminates more than the built-in tools. You need to choose "Temporary Files." Edit: That was incorrect.

Check the actual space Windows occupies by following these steps: 1. Launch a Windows Explorer window 2. In the sidebar, select Local Disk (C Smile

3. Right-click the Windows folder and choose Properties 4. Let me know the size once it’s determined.

CCleaner continues to struggle with Windows Update cleanups, which appears to be the issue: I would certainly suggest using CCleaner alongside Disk Cleanup, though
