I'm compiling a parts list. The goal is to save costs and impress your wife by choosing an integrated graphics on the CPU. I'm considering the Ryzen 3200G processor. The motherboard supports a 4-channel setup, and I need advice on RAM configuration—either 4×8GB or 2×16GB. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I'm using the PC Part Picker site you linked.

You might choose 32GB of RAM and integrated graphics because you don’t require thermal paste. You likely already have extra storage space. The OS will consume about 120GB, so a case wouldn’t be necessary. There are more suitable alternatives available. To get proper assistance, let us know your intended use for the system. I own a pair of 1TB HDDs, so upgrading isn't a concern. The case is chosen so I can later switch it to NAS or use it for bulk storage. Integrated is just a cost-saving move. Right now, the toughest challenge is playing the remastered FF8 on Steam. Mostly I play LOL. 16GB RAM is needed because I'm experimenting with allocating part of it to integrated graphics.

I also chose 32g as a starting point for the dual vs quad core memory choice. 16gb seems like a likely option.

Built a PC for my stepdad using an R3 3200G B450 board with 16GB RAM. It works fine and isn’t too heavy. Perfect for light gaming—CS:GO runs smoothly at around 120 FPS. Just needs about 2GB of RAM for the GPU.

I noticed the option to enhance it often. Right now I have a powerful setup with Radeon R2 integrated. Thought boosting wouldn’t be possible on a basic machine. The CPU surged and the GPU handled ff8 remastered even after an SSD and double the RAM upgrade.

You can upgrade from 512MB to 2GB. I just installed a Ryzen 3 3200G for my stepdad. I was expecting 4GB, but it only goes up to 2GB even with the X570 board.
